Some of you know me by the name "Chena". That is a nickname that came about because of my sister Delcina. When she was very little, she could not say my name very well. She would call me "Ca-chena" instead of Catrina. Then it was shortened to Chena. Some of my family and friends called me Chena in high school and in college. My husband and all of his family in Oregon call me Chena. In fact, when Tim calls me Catrina, I think I am in trouble...
And that's the history of the nickname "Chena".
